Brady's Stabbing!

So Brady was home with the kids one day, and had this idea to make the tires on Hadlee's jeep a little better, you know so she can climb better, and not spin out on the grass when it's wet. Well.., he sent me a text at school that said "I just stabbed my leg"! Well what the heck am I suppose to think when I get a text like that! So I hurried home, and found him laying on the kitchen floor, white as ghost, sweating to death, and a big old blood spot above his knee!! So..., we hurry to the hospital, where he got 3 stitches, (without being numb!) and all these nice pictures!!! Needless to say, it wasn't horrible it just scared us all!! Now he's just proud of the scare!!!

On October 28th, my best friend Kristie had a beautiful baby girl! She named her Paislie Jane. She is absolutely beautiful! But with a gorgious mommy she doesn't have a choice!! She has a TON of black hair, it was even in a little curl when we went up to see her! I feel so bad it has taken me so long to get this up! But again, my computer crashed and I couldn't get it done! So forgive me Kris!!! I am so excited for Ty and Kristie, this is their baby of 4 beautiful little ones!! I bet they are going to be so much help!! YEAH!!! I love you Kristie, and you have a beautiful little angel!!!

Catch Up!

Hey Everyone! I'm sorry it's been forever since I've blogged! My computer crashed and it's been driving me nuts! First of all I have to tell you all about Halloween and my cute kids! Hadlee wanted to be Hannah Montana, and Houston was a spider! Hadlee was my little poser and Houston absolutely hated his costume, therefore he is screaming in the picture!! LOL And then there is my husband, the funniest and most creative of all of us! He was Obama as a detainee! Yes, only those of you who have been to Iraq, or are married to a soldier get the detainee atire, but it was pretty funny! He had to wear his turban and yellow scrub pants and the shirt he is wearing is one that the detainee's actually made him, with his name on it and everything!! It was pretty funny! We went to a fun party at Tiff and Rhett's that night and we had a lot of fun!!
Also during the month of October Mille Mom, Matasha, Bree and I all went down to see thriller in St. George! It was a blast! Bree had this awesome idea for us all to bring our favorite things for everyone! It was so much fun to see what everyone's favorite things were! We found this yummy place called The Orange Peel. They made smoothies and they were so freakin good, we had like a table full of them! And we drank them all!! That night we went and saw "Thriller" and it was SO good! I've added some funny pictures of us with the Jason guy and some of each of us with our thriller faces!! LOL it was really fun, and I can't wait to do it again next year!! Thanks for the fun weekend girls!!

"Give 'em the boot!"

This past week was Homecoming week at the high school! It was a lot of fun! Melissa Judy and the student body officers did an awesome job this year! The theme was "Good Times" (the song by Alan Jackson!) It was really fun! Since I work at the high school now I got to experience the whole week! It was fun! I had to do a little coaxing with Kim, but I got her to dress up with me! The students and Mr. Kirk got quite a kick out of it! Monday was Tie Dye day, Tuesday was Senior Citizen day, Wednesday was Retro 80's, Thursday was Western day, and Friday was School Pride day, (blue and white!) Anyway, Kim and I dressed up everyday, I didn't start the pictures until Tuesday, and then I forgot my camera Friday, but Hey I got pics of the fun days!

What some hot grannies! People told me all day that I look
like my grandma Linda!! The funny thing is I get told that on a normal day!!!LOL

Wow! I can't believe people actually looked like this
on purpose!! HA HA!

YEE HAW!!!! Nice Buckles huh?

I think Kim was a little nervous at first, but we had a blast! She doesn't know about Spirit week and it's a lot the same!! SHHH, we'll keep it a secret!! HA HA! Look for the posts of that week! The game was awesome! We beat ALA 35 to 14. The boys played great and they seemed to be having a great time out there! At the begining of the game, there was a big suprise when the bulldog and the game ball was flown in on a helicoptor it was awesome! High Five to Melissa Judy for that one!! She is unbelievable!! Anyway it was a really fun week and a great night! GO BULLDOGS!!!

High Centered!!

The other day after the JV game, Brady wanted to go shooting. About 2 minutes after he left the house, he was back in! You see we have this pile of gravel out in front of our house and Brady decided it would be fun to see if he could make it over it with the Tahoe!! As you can tell he didn't get too far! LOL He got high centered. Too funny! I'm just wondering if all guys are the same and like to see just what their vehicles will do or if it's just my adventurous husband!! Thank you Jaden James for pulling him off!!! LOL Brady just informed me that I forgot to tell you all that he made Jaden wait for him while he drove over it again just to make sure he could and he did!! (Proud Moment!!)LOL

Happy Birthday Alicia!!

You should all know by now that I am really slow at posting things! So Alicia don't be mad that I'm doing this on Friday and your birthday was actually on Tuesday!! SORRY! Anyway, It was my friend Alicia's birthday on Tuesday and I just wanted everyone to know what an awesome person she is. We have been friends since high school but became really good friends the summer that Brady left the first time in 2005. Alicia has always been there to help me in any way. She is always someone i can call and talk to, go walking with, and the very best to go out to lunch with! She was there when Brady left the first time and then again when both of our husbands left the second time! She is truly an amazing person and I admire her in so many ways. She is an awesome wife and mother. She is incredibly strong and a great example to me. So Alicia, I just want you to know that I love and appreciate all that you have done for me and my family and I look up to you in so many ways! Thank you for always being there for me and being a rock I can always count on!! I love you to death and am so grateful for the friendship that we share!! Thanks again and I hope you had a Happy Birthday!!!

Hadlee's First Day of School

I'm really slow I know, but Hadlee started school a week ago, and I just wanted to post these cute pictures of her! She is getting so big, so fast. I really can't believe it! It's crazy that she will start real school next year! WOW time sure flies! Anyway, she absolutely LOVES pre-school. Her teacher is Miss Alice and she is amazing. She is super good with the kids and they all seem to love her. Hadlee is also a huge fan of "Principal Bruce"! She thinks he's pretty cool too! Anyway, my little girl is getting bigger and it really makes me sad. I guess they have to get big sometime huh!!!

My Hero!

Yesterday we went up to the Freedom Salute in Salt Lake. It was a big awards and recognition ceremony for the soldiers of the 145th. They recognized all the soldiers by giving them a flag in a nice wooden case, a pin, and a metal of some kind! It was really awesome to see all of the soldiers there who served with Brady in Iraq. They are a bunch of neat guys. After they recognized all of the soldiers they gave out some other awards! Much to my suprise, Brady recieved the Bronze Star Award! He didn't know he was going to get this and therefore, I was totally clueless!! I am SO proud of him! This is what his award says, Just so you get an idea of why he recieved it! " For: Exceptionally meritorious service in a combat zone with exposure to risk of hostile action during operation Iraqi Freedom. His outstanding duty during combat operations in Iraq contributed to the overwhelming success of the command's mission. His actions are in keeping with the finest traditions of military service and reflect great credit upon him, mulit-national force-Iraq, and the United States Army!" There is another paper that goes into detail about the things that Brady did and about him being such a great leader and doing his job so well! I am really so proud of him! But Brady being the way he is, doesn't think that he deserves this award. He had a friend killed in Iraq the last time they went over and this is the award that he recieved for what he did. So Brady found it hard to accept the award yesterday. He told me that people receive this award for saving lives and losing lives for their country. He doesn't realize the impact that he must have had on so many people over there. In my mind he is one of the very best soldiers you will find. I am so extremely proud of him not just for receiving the bronze star, but for being there when our country needed him both times. He has been over seas twice, and didn't complain about going either time. He is an awesome leader and has made some awesome friends through his deployments! He knows his duties and does them well. I am so honored to be married to the finest soldier in the world, and the hottest!! I love you with all my heart Brady and am SO proud of you! Congrats again for your very deserving award!!!

My kids

Hey everyone! The other day I was sitting at home with my kids and decided that to take them out and take some fun pictures of them! I'm definately not the greatest photographer in the world and need a new camera, but we had a ton of fun taking them! Looking at these pictures made me think about my two little angels and how grateful I am for them! If any of you know my kids you know that they are not "Angels", (most of the time!) They are mostly full of hell and come by it honestly! But they are my whole world and I wouldn't trade them for ANYTHING. Hadlee is SO extremely full of life and is so smart. Nothing gets past this little girl. She remembers EVERYTHING and doesn't let us forget! She has a huge imagination that keep Brady and I laughing and talking every single day! She absolutley LOVES her grandmas and grandpas ( and let me tell you there are a lot of them!), Aunt Tash, and Playing, Playing, Playing! Houston is also full of life and follows in his big sisters footsteps! He has this smile that NO one can resist and he knows it. He is getting into something all the time and is sure to make a huge mess wherever he goes. He is definately all boy. He loves balls ( throwing them), dirt, mud puddles, exploring outside, and dancing!! The thing I love the most about Houston is his hugs! He gives the best hugs in the world for a little boy! I love both of my kids very much. My days are sometimes crazy and i'm usually chasing after them both, and yelling at them both to be nice, or get back in the house, or clean up that mess..., but at the end of the day, the very best thing for me to hear is " Mommy I love you!" I sometimes have to step back and realize that they are just little kids, and I need to leave the messes for a minute to sit on the couch and cuddle with them! That's what is really the most important to me! I love my kids to death and I am So extremely blessed to have both of them in my life! Brady and I couldn't ask for anything better! Love you guys!

I've still got it!!

At cheer camp this year Monica caught me sitting with one of my feet up by my head! She commented on it and then we got talking about how I could put both feet behind my head when I was in high school! I'm sure if you went to school with me, you remember!( It's just a stupid human trick!!) Anyway, so I told her I could still do it and she didn't believe me. SO..., I had to show her! So needless to say the girls had to see it! And that's when Monica snapped the picture! How embarrasing! My big ol butt in the air! BUT..., i thought I would put it on our page so that those of you who knew I could do it before, could laugh and remember how retarded I really am~!!! But hey.., "I've still got it after 2 kids, a few fat rolls and 26 years old!!!"

When dad plays mom!!

Okay so everyone knows that Brady has been gone for the last year. He hasn't been able to go back to work until last night. Anyway..., so we thought it was going to be SO nice for him to stay home and take care of the kids, and be able to spend time with them! I think he might have thought I was being dramatic when i would tell him the kids were driving me nuts! But he soon found out just how easy they are and how sweet they REALLY are! Brady had just gone through the kids bedroom, and was cleaning out the old toys and clothes and everything. He had it all nice and clean and organized! BUT..., much to his surprise, Hadlee kicked in to true Hadlee mode. She destroyed the place! She tore into all the bags and boxes of toys and clothes that Brady was going to get rid of, tore everything out of drawers, and well..., really made a mess! You should have heard him when he called me and told me about it! The only thing I could do was laugh, because I've had my own experiences with the little angels and it was time he had his!! Anyway, I thought it was pretty funny, and even better that he got a picture of it! I just wanted to share it with you all! Needless to say, he was totally excited to back to work last night and I think the rest of us were as well!!!

Cheer Camp '08

For those of you who don't know...., I help coach Gunnison's cheerleaders and LOVE every second! I guess that saying, "Once a cheerleader, always a cheerleader!" is very true! I absolutley love helping the girls and going to camp! We actually just got home from camp last Friday and I just have to take this opportunity to brag! My girls did SO awesome! This year we have 16 cheerleaders, 10 of them are new, and 11 of them are freshmen and sophomores. Sounds a little scary huh. Yes that's what I thought until we got to camp. These girls did absolutely wonderful! They got top team in the performance category, one of our captains recieved the individual leadership award, we had 11 girls nominated for All-American, and 3 of them made the All-American team. We also had one of our girls be asked to be on the NCA staff! Can you believe it! I was actually amazed, and SO extremely proud of every single one of them! We have a cute bunch of girls and you better keep your eye out for them this year! They are awesome!!! GO BULLDOGS!!! Here are a couple pictures of them!

4th of July

What an awesome time of year to be thankful for the freedoms that we have! It especially hits close to home for our little family. We are so thankful for Brady, my little brother Jace and all the other men and women who have served and are still serving our country! We love you all and thank you SO much!

Pittsburg ZOO!

This is our fam at the Pittsburg Zoo! (much cooler than the Hogle Zoo!) We had so much fun! Hadlee and Houston LOVED it! It was hotter than heck, but lots of fun!
