Seven years and still going strong!

This past month, I got to celebrate being married 7 years to the most amazing husband, daddy, and best friend I could ever ask for! It's seriously crazy how fast time goes by. It seem like just yesterday honestly. That is partly due to the fact that in the 7 years of being married, we have only lived together for about 4 years of that. We have experienced tears of sadness and super happy tears! We have gone through a lot together, and have been each others strength through it all! I am SO extremely grateful to have Brady in my life! He is my everything! He gives me so much to be proud of! He is an incredible strength, example, and inspiration. The past seven years have brought me 2 adorable children, strength I didn't know I had, a HUGE appreciation for the freedom that I have, and the sacrifices that it takes to have them!! I am so blessed to be married to my very best friend, (for longer than 7 years!) I am more in love with him than ever before, and I look forward to the years to come!! Thank you sweetheart for all that you have given me!! I Love you with all of my heart!!

Mother's Day!

Since it's mother's day, I thought I would just take a minute to tell you about the special mothers that I have! Not everyone is as blessed as I am to have more than just one. Both of my mom's are the most important ladies in my life. I definitely wouldn't be the person that I am today without both in my life! They have their differences, for starters, one is 5' 8" the other 5' 2", one is chocolate, and one is vanilla! But they have one thing in common, and that is that they are both awesome mothers who put their kids and grandkids first, and they both love the gospel and have shared that with all of us! They both have more strength than I could ever imagine, and have overcome SO much in their lives. My moms, have both been there for me ALWAYS, and always will be! I hope that one day I can become the women that they both are!
I was blessed 7 years ago to gain another mom, my wonderful mother-in-law, Peggy! She is amazing! I have learned so much from her in the past 7 years! Mostly about cooking! The woman knows everything there is to know about food and how to make it pretty and taste just right! You should know that without her my kitchen would be empty! She has gotten me every kitchen gadget known to man, and every time she comes to my house she discovers one more thing I need! Lol, but in all seriousness, she is one of the most loving, and supportive people I know! We owe a lot to her! I admire her so much and love all that she has done for me and my family!
There are also some other ladies who have helped to play the role of "mom" in my life, and I just want to mention them as well, because the sang. "it takes a village to raise a child", or however it goes, is very true! There have been some other amazing women step in and adopt me so to speak as I was growing up! I'm not sure if it was by choice or not, but they did it anyway. First of all, Carol Hadlock, I started hanging out at her house when i was in 3rd grade, (a long time ago) and she always had an open door, and an extra seat at the dinner table! I'm sure she doesn't realize the impact she had on my life, but I always looked up to her and still look back at the mother she was when I was growing up! Also, Tammy Dyreng, Kind of the same situation, I think I lived at their houses quite a bit, but they both have always been so supportive and loving to me, and I appreciate their examples in my life! One more person to thank for being the other "Mom" in my life is my aunt Merri Lynn! She for sure has been there since I was born, and has always looked out for mine, and my brothers well being. She has always been someone I can turn to if I ever needed anything! So thank you aunt Merri Lynn!
As you can see, I have been VERY blessed to have so many special people in my life! I love and appreciate every single one of you! Especially both of my moms!! I love you!
Also happy mothers day to my awesome sisters, and sister-in-laws! I love you all SO much!

EASTER!!!

I'm slow as always, but we had an awesome Easter! Brady had to work, so that was kind of stinky, but the kids and I went up to my mom and Marty's for dinner, easter egg hunt, and tons of fun! All of my brothers and sisters were there with all their kids, and Nana and grandma Fay! It was tons of fun!! Thanks mom and Marty!!!

X-Treme Combat

Last Saturday, Brady and I went to the X-Treme Combat fights! It was interesting. We got tickets through a girl that Brady works with. Her husband fights! His name is Dayle Jarvis, A.K.A CRAZY NAVAJO!! He is pretty crazy if you ask me!! Any of those guys that do that are just nuts, in my opinion! LOL It was really fun though. There were also 4 guys from Gunnison that fought so it was fun to watch them! They all won too! Dayle's fight was pretty fun to watch, the guy he fought was from Richfield, and he was WIERD!! He was wearing these spandex shorts that were quite short, (not cute!) I had a hard time staying focused on the fight!! HA HA Just kidding, but it was really gross!! And I'm pretty sure that the Crazy Navajo was being nice to him! He could have taken him out in the first or second round a couple of times, but he was nice and let him go 3 rounds!! LOL Anyway, it was really quite entertaining! I think I would for sure go again!!! Congrats to the Gunnison boys and the Crazy Navajo!! LOL

February Birthdays!!!

We got through the month of BIRTHDAYS!! At our house everyone has a birthday in February but me!! Houston's is the 9th, Brady's is the 16th, and Hadlee's is the 18th! Crazy!!! We had fun with all of them though! Houston turned 2, and he started the terrible 2's right on time! LOL Hadlee turned 5 ( FINALLY!) She thought she would get to go to Kindergarten as soon as she turned 5 so she was a bit disappointed, but she had a great day! Here are just a couple pics from all the parties! In the pic of Brady's birthday, it was my step dads birthday the next day so i did a cake for both of them! Tiffanie made Houston's darling cake, that's why his is the only cute one!! LOL Thanks Tiff!
